Martial Arts

Martial Arts of the 21st century builds both physical and mental strength.  Students learn discipline, confidence in themselves, respect for others, and teamwork.  Even if the defense skills the students learn are never needed, there are great benefits to martial arts training.  Strength, flexibility, coordination and cardiovascular health are just the beginning.  The fun and the self-satisfaction of accomplishment are added benefits.  YMCA martial arts instructors strive to fulfill all these goals in their classes.

Our martial arts program has on-going enrollment. Information can be found under the martial arts tab on the hoem page. Classes are on Thursday evenings. We offer a drop-in fee or a punch card option. You can register either at the Y or before class (just arrive a few minutes early).
